  1. Thank you for such a wonderful learning experience.

  2. This is a wonderful introductory course to alcohol inks! Learning how to manipulate these inks is a challenge and needs lots of practice. I love the fact that I can go back to this and review any time I want. Looking forward to the next level.

  3. Loved this course. Learned so much and appreciated being able to work at my own pace. Great video instruction!!

  5. Loved the class and will be taking more!

  6. Hi Sheryl. I still need to paint the apple and the flowers and the dreamscape My left arm is still not ok so it takes a while until I can finish a painting. I’ll post them soon <3

  7. I love how you gently lead us from step to step.

  9. Fabulous course. I’ve been fiddling around with alcohol inks for about two years then got serious about them (read: fell in love) this summer. As hard as I tried, nothing came out well. After taking this course I have a much better understanding of the inks, how to work with them, the different qualities of different colors, and some finished paintings that actually look like something, even if they’re abstract. The wealth of knowledge in this class and on this site is spectacular. Sheryl also has a way of helping her students find their confidence through her encouragement while giving suggestions to up their skills and practice. That’s not an easy line to walk, yet she does it. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone enchanted by the unique qualities off this medium but continually frustrated. Thank you, Sheryl. Looking forward to more, more, more.

  10. 5 stars! But I don’t know how to make sure that they are recorded. Thanks, Sheryl.

  11. Great course. Fabulous Teacher. I learned sooo much. Now on to Level 2.

  12. This course exceeded my expectations above and beyond. Sheryl is an amazing instructor and not only explains everything in detail, she motivates you to get off the fence. You can watch as many tutorials as you want, but this has taught me the skills to for more than the beginner.

  13. This was a fantastic introductory course to working with alcohol inks. Sheryl Williams provides students with clear direction in both text and video formats and helpful tips and feedback throughout the course. I appreciated that you have a year to finish as life often gets in the way of creative pursuits (sad but true). It was also fantastic to be part of the Facebook group dedicated to students in the course so we could learn from each other and also the from Sheryl’s feedback to other student’s questions and work. I’m looking forward to the level two course! I highly recommend this course to anyone new to alcohol inks!

  14. When will the next Level 2 Class begin? I have a couple of single classes I signed up to do I want to catch up then come back to Level 2.

  15. It is great to have a demonstration with which one can follow, rewind and watch again. I like that Sheryl builds on each skill and helps you then begin to combine and incorporate them into the next paintings. I am looking forward to the next level classes.

  16. i played with alcohol ink before, but learned things about the different amounts of alcohol in the different paints. Never could figure out why some moved more than others. I have completed all of the exercises, but I don’t have a smart phone and so I can’t download anything to FB. If I can figure it out using my digital camera, I will try to post eventually. Can’t wait to stare the next lesson,

  17. Lots of Fun, very engaging
