Cool Tools – A few I would hate to be without

Explore three great tools that make life easier when painting with alcohol inks.

I love tools. Here are three that I would hate to be without:

  1. iPad holder – I usually work from reference photos and I love this safe and secure iPad holder that also works with my phone. I demonstrate how it works, how I use it and where to buy one.
  2. Snapware Organizer – I’ve worked with the inks for several years and have gone through lots of different organizers to store and transport my inks. This is the one that works best for me.  I bought my at Hobby Lobby
  3. Fiskar’s Paper Trimmer – I usually use Yupo in 9 x 12 inch sheets but this light weight, accurate paper trimmer works great to cut sheets in half or in quarters, my preferred size for testing.

Questions and comments are always welcome.

  1. Definitely some cheaper brands available on Amazon.ca. Also check out Indigo/Chapters, Staples, and Best Buy.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing! I would love to buy the iPad clamp but would you believe Amazon.ca sells it for $78.07 Can$ plus $17.99 shipping!! Unfortunately Amazon.com won’t ship this item to Canada. Hopefully we will be going to Florida next April and I’ll try to buy it in the States. It looks like a great tool as I too paint from reference photos on my iPad. I love watching your videos Sheryl. 🙂
